Warning...
today is a long post!
(click photos to enlarge)
If you love Columbine you are in for a treat...
if you don't or you are on the fence about them,
you will be at least a bit smitten,
by the end:-)
I told you last week
the Columbines have gone crazy...
they are everywhere!
I have a big variety,
I haven't planned this...
it just happened :-)
the variety of shapes, colors and sizes mesmerizes me...
perfect bowls pointed skyward,
like dainty teacups and saucers...
flared like twirling ballgowns,
waltzing in the garden...
or cast to the skies like fairies wings,
as they flit about...
this one sideways,
if tall enough she would look you right in the eye
and say hello...
pure grace,
white with purple running through her veins...
ruffles...
PINK ruffles!!!
twins..
pink for a girl...
and blue for a boy....
delicate...
bold...
each glorious!!!
Are you as smitten as me?
Today I am joining...
and
Thanks for strolling with me today :-)

This is so pretty! I love Columbines, it's one of the few plants really doing well in my garden but I have far from such a wide variety you have. I really enjoyed this walk in your garden! Thanks!
Marian
You do really have many different beautiful columbines.
I love them all. <3

ohhh so pretty! I love to see the results when they cross pollinate ever year. You never know what color you will get, but always a lovely surprise!
I have never seen so many different columbines in one garden! They are glorious..It would be hard to pick a favorite! Love them all- but that top one is gorgeous and I really love the Pink for a Girl one too...Oh..I love them all! xxoo Diana

Hi Bella,
Your columbines are gorgeous! I love, love, love all the colors and varieties you have. I don't have columbines in my gardens...I don't currently have a spot that would work for them, but I hope when we landscape the back yard I might be able to add them!
Totally smitten! Oh, my, what a gorgeous garden, Bella. I wasn't successful with my columbines, but I'm going to try again. One called Texas Gold is supposed to be a good choice for us. ~ Sarah
Wonderful collection! I'm inspired to get more!
Beautiful post!

Hi Bella! These are all awesome! I see columbine mostly wild along mountain streams when I'm camping. I think they just have to have the moisture. Like you've HAD! That last one reminds me of. I don't know how you ever pull yourself back inside! Nice to see what's popping up! xx
That last one reminds me of orchids, that is...
Your Columbines are so enchanting, can't even pick a favorite. :)
Hi!
Awesome, Beautiful, Stunning! Have a great day!

Akleja är en så vacker blomma. I Sverige kallas den även duv- blomma. Tittar du på formen så ser du hur tätt duvorna sitter samman. Önskar dig en fortsatt underbar vecka. Zinnia
I love columbine and your collection is fabulous! I love the pink ruffles! Beautiful photos! Jean
Very pretty Bella! Love the pink ruffles:@)
I don't have any columbine in my garden and I particularly liked the Pink Ruffles. I'm not even sure if they will grow here (zone 8) but I am going to find out. Thank you for sharing these lovley flowers.

I haven't had Columbine for a long time because some of them can be a bit invasive but you are really, really tempting me! Your's are just fantastic! Love 'em.
I do love columbine Bella, but have pretty much given up on them. I have perhaps three plants remaining and almost before I can turn around I find them eaten by quarter inch green worms and so have to use a pesticide... this happens every year but never occured years ago. I've given up on them! Yours are wonderful! L
They are beautiful!
Wonderful photos!! Happy Outdoor Wednesday!!
Clap. Clapping. Still clapping. Lovely photos. See you next week.
