I'm a little late getting started...
I dressed my Mantle up
for Valentines Day today...
I made a paper heart banner,
for my window...
It's a new larger window,
I hung over the mantle
right after Christmas time...
I also added the iron candle holders
on each side,
I think they need to be softened up
with some white paint...
sweet old Valentines...
Why don't they make anything this lovely anymore?
I decorated a new chocolate box...
a small box,
painted white
and covered in raw silk...

The heart banner is so cute, I may just have to make one yet before Valentine's. I agree- why don't they make pretty things anymore?? Guess we just have to keep going antiquing!

I didn't do any decorating this year, but I crocheted a few hearts for my son Viktor to take to school.

Golly this is gorgeous! I didn't realize how high your ceilings are. Your mantel is fabulous with the big window, and your heart banner is just so sweet. So soft looking. Such a nice collection of beautiful boxes you're getting. It's all just so very pretty together!
Just a lovely valentine box. I like the sheet music on the box with all of the lace.
The mantle looks lovely Bella and I like the old window with the hearts strung across it. How sweet are the candy boxes repurposed to a romantic feminine look, one even with lavender.
